Employees had the opportunity to experience a range of vehicles firsthand, including Denza’s B5 and B8 alongside BYD’s Atto 8 and Shark 6, highlighting the performance, technology, and versatility of the brands’ new energy vehicles. The activation was supported by exclusive offers made available specifically for Ooredoo employees, giving them direct access to the brands and their latest models in a convenient workplace setting. Beyond the test drive experience, the collaboration also introduced supporting infrastructure, with BYD chargers installed at Ooredoo’s headquarters to facilitate convenient charging for electric vehicle users and support the company’s forward-looking approach to mobility. By combining workplace engagement, dedicated offers, and charging infrastructure, the partnership reflects a broader collaboration between the brands and Ooredoo to promote accessible and sustainable mobility solutions in Kuwait, with more to come
presenting all three brands; BYD, Denza, and Yangwang, in a coordinated showcase. BYD and Denza
vehicles were displayed at the main stand, where visitors could explore the lineup, interact with the
team, and learn more about the technologies behind the vehicles. Yangwang was featured in its own
dedicated display area inside the garage, where the Yangwang U8 was presented, giving visitors a
closer look at the brand and its engineering capabilities.
A key highlight of the event was the first-ever track experience for the Yangwang U9 in Kuwait.
Guests had the opportunity to take part in taxi rides on the track, experiencing the vehicle’s
performance firsthand. Alongside the U9, BYD’s Han and Seal also took to the track, giving visitors the
chance to feel the performance, acceleration, and handling of the vehicles in a real motorsport
environment.
On January 10th, the focus shifted to off-road capability with a full day of obstacle track experiences.
Guests were able to participate in taxi rides across the obstacle course in the Denza B5 and Denza B8,
demonstrating their off-road performance and versatility. The BYD Shark also joined the experience,
navigating the obstacles and showcasing its capability in demanding terrain conditions.
Through these experiences across track and off-road environments, BYD Group delivered an
engaging showcase of performance, innovation, and capability, bringing customers and automotive
enthusiasts closer to the future of mobility
On Earth Day, which falls on 22 April, BYD Alghanim partnered with Invest GB in a unique collaboration that showcased our shared vision for a greener future. Together, we rolled out our full lineup of 6 New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)—Song Plus, Qin Plus, Han, Seal, Atto 3, and the all-new Sealion 7—to offer a sustainable and stylish commute for Invest GP employees.
Each vehicle was dispatched to pick up team members from their homes and transport them to work, giving them a firsthand experience of BYD’s cutting-edge electric technology, comfort, and performance. This initiative highlighted the practicality of switching to clean energy vehicles while reinforcing our joint dedication to reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-conscious living.
Through this activation, BYD Alghanim and Invest GB made a strong statement: the future of mobility is electric, and it starts with the choices we make today.
